teh new kittehs!

aaron and julie got some new to them rescue kittens... and i'm living vicariously through them. sorry about the pics, the cute little bastards would not hold still.

a walk in the clouds

jed, aaron, and i climbed hunger mtn this morning. it's a nice little hike, ~2.5mi and 3000ft. it was foggy as hell and pretty rainy but still fun.






the summit was wet and windy... we didn't stay long. file this one under exercise and not sight seeing. here's my mug at the top and a quick video to give you a good idea of just how miserable it was.

the tail end of labor day weekend included going back to work, some more beautiful weather, the first football game, and lots of the following:

part of the labor day fun including tagging along with Julie, AJ, and Evie Moore to a local petting zoo. I won't deny that I enjoyed it at least as much as the kids.

Mothra!

well... just a luna moth actually. still something pretty cool, this one was about 4" tip to tail and was waiting right outside the door.

beating the heat VT style

earlier this summer Sidra and I took a stroll into Lana Falls. it was a gorgeous, hot day and the water was crisp and refreshing.
