April showers bring May..... what? wait a minute! wtf mate?

the first week in April can be a crazy time without even considering trying to gather and lift the roots of your life and get ready to leave some cherished things behind. let's start with thursday in Vt., which brought us nearly a foot of late season snow. that slowed aaron and i down a little on moving the Moore family into their newly finished (dare i say it... yea it's close enough) home. finished meaning a lot more finished than an uncleared lot in middlesex, vt but not quite a five-star hilton lived in for a decade home. if you asked, i'd have this to say "what home, built with your own blood, sweat, and tears is ever truly finished? homes of that caliber tend to evolve and grow with you in life and are as much a dynamic and integral part of your family as anyone or anything else."

so i didn't take any decent pics of the house or the work we did there. but if you're interested you should check out aaron and julie's blog. it is filled with pics of the house (i have a few cameos among them) and updates on the family.

on friday i left the splendors of Montpelier behind. it was great to spend the last few months with Jed, that was a huge bonus for me. it's not often in our adult lives that you'll get the chance to live with your brother for a few months and spend time together just shitting around, laughing about nonsense, and well... amusing and bothering the crap out of everyone else with our brother banter and tee hees about everything lewd and inappropriate. jed buddy, we are quite the team.
