somewhere to start

so, somewhere to start... i am creating this blog as a means of keeping track of things. in about a month i am driving cross-country from my home in NY to a new life in CO. this will be my journal of that trip and everything that ensues. this page is for my friends and family who i love and i'll miss... i hope that in creating this you'll feel that in some way, you're coming along on this adventure. that said, it'll also save me from having to re-tell all my adventures over and over again to everyone. so yeah, i'm lazy... and selfish.
