technical difficulties...

so here's the deal. right now, the computer available to me at home is proudly offering up the infamous 'blue screen of death'. i'm sitting here at the library, which is frigging amazing by the way ( http://www.ci.louisville.co.us/library), thinking i was going to be able to upload some pics and be able to share this shit with you guys. well that's a no go, lots of system security and limited access means i can't upload any pics from here. until the computer at home gets fixed i think i'm SOL.

a little update on life in Colorado, it's well... gorgeous. i'm still getting used to looking at the flatirons and the rockies all day. i'd like to be up in the middle of them somewhere if i had my druthers, but i'm close enough i guess. life with the Burns family is going great. they are a group of excellent people and i am lucky and very appreciative that they've 'taken me in' until i get to know the area a little better and find a place of my own. work has been good, it's great to be outside all day. it has been a little frustrating for me trying to jump into a group that have been working together for years. they have their own lingo and can get through things faster than i can, but it's to be expected and i know i'm simply frustrated because i always set the mark to high. there's no such thing as a seemless transition. i really enjoy the work, it's physical and offers you that daily satisfaction of looking back at what you've accomplished because well.... you're usually standing on it. the house we're framing now is three floors, it's a good thing i don't mind heights and walking along 2x4's 25 feet off the ground.

pics and the updates of the trip out here as soon as i can get them uploaded.... promise
